Mike Radcliffe

My name is Mike. I am a founding member of the Atlantic Caving Group. I have served in the Army as a Field Engineer and as a Volunteer Firefighter. When I was living out west on Vancouver Island I was a member of the local caving group out there. I have caved in a lot of caves throughout North America and thoroughly enjoy it. I have been to Carlsbad, the deepest in North America and Mammoth, the longest in the world. I especially enjoy tight passages and working with ropes and my SRT gear

Caving is an activity that can be done year round, which I love. It's also different every time and brings different challenges. I find peace in the cave when I just sit there with my headlamp off in complete darkness and listen and look at nothing.
